Meet Our Pastor:
Pastor Jason Holm has served the Lord at Northside Calvary Church since October 2004. Pastor Jason came to know the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior through the ministry of his father, a Montana pastor. He earned his bachelor's degree in Pastoral Studies from Calvary Bible College and a master's degree in Christian Theology from Calvary Theological Seminary. During his seminary years, he served as pastor to a small congregation in rural Platte County, Missouri. Pastor Jason loves backpacking in "his" Montana mountains, fly fishing, reading, cabinet making, and cheering on his favorite teams: the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and University of Kansas Jayhawks. Pastor Jason and his wife Allison have been married for twelve years.
Recommendations from Pastor's Bookshelf:

Greg Harris, The Cup and the Glory: Lessons on Suffering and the Glory of God. Everyone experiences pain and suffering in some form or another. Pain comes in various forms, at various times, and in varying degrees. Greg, using his own suffering as a starting point, walks us through 1 Peter to demonstrate how to view suffering Biblically and for the glory of God. This is the best book I have read in quite some time. Buy it: The Cup And the Glory: Lessons on Suffering And the Glory of God "

Living the Cross Centered Life, by C.J. Mahaney. This
book is designed to focus on the cross. As C.J. says, "One purpose of
this book is to restate the obvious yet oft-neglected truth of the
gospel of the cross of Jesus Christ and bring it before you
again--vividly and compellingly--so that you more deeply grasp the
crucial importance of never taking it for granted." Buy it: Living the Cross Centered Life: Keeping the Gospel the Main Thing
